G'day Hako, yes, the damaged foam can be a problem as it is a weatherproofing seal and not cosmetic. Without it I don't think it would last long. We bought a brand new A-Van Cruiseliner Adventure Plus.Within days the door handle fell off in our hands. We have our Avan We had an earlier 2000 model and it had the lower walls which meant it had the smaller fridge, around about that time they started to bring them out with higher walls and a larger fridge, can't remember the capacity now, will be on the A'van website somewhere. . Manager extremely rude, would not answer phone calls or emails. Also and most importantly, it doesn't take into account the (unlikely but potential) injury or death of others due to the overloading. Things hadnt been finished properly, and they had no intention of fixing it. Have checked outside the van for leaks, but no problems. Turn the tap off and the pump then appears to stop however somehow the pump continues on its merry way whirring very very quietly in the background almost silently draining the battery.
